The week of 25-29 August 2025 marked a momentous occasion in our school's history as we celebrated our centenary. The entire week was dedicated to honouring 100 years of education, community, and growth here at Campbells Bay School. This significant milestone was woven into all aspects of our classroom practice, with students enthusiastically engaging in learning about the school's rich heritage, its evolution over the decades, and the countless individuals who have walked its halls. The atmosphere was one of joyful reflection and pride as we celebrated a century of nurturing young minds.
Our celebrations brought together past and present members of the school community in a wonderful series of events. We were incredibly honoured to welcome back many past pupils, with some who attended as early as the 1940s, to share their precious memories with us. Highlights of the week included a delightful high tea, nostalgic school tours, a formal centenary assembly, and a spectacular 1920s-themed evening function that captured the spirit of our founding decade. The festivities culminated in a vibrant centenary fair, creating a memorable experience for all. Please enjoy the selection of photos from these special events.
