Important Notice - Mask Wearing at School

Changes to the public health order mean that mask wearing is required at Campbells Bay School.

Please note the following:

• All adults and visitors who enter the school grounds must wear a mask.
• All staff are required to wear a mask indoors.
• Students from Y4-6 are required to wear a mask indoors.
• Teachers of students Y0-3 can choose to wear a mask.
• All contractors on the new classroom block can choose to wear a mask.

As you see, the expectations between staff and parents are different. This is because parents are not required to be vaccinated when they come onto school grounds. All staff at Campbells Bay School are fully vaccinated. The vaccination mandate also extends to all contractors on site and the team on constructing the new build.

Unwell Students

We are able to treat minor cuts and scratches that occur but we cannot hold unwell students in our medical room for long. It is our policy to to contact parents or the emergency contact and have the student collected if they are too ill to return to class.

If a student requires medication during the school day, written permission will need to be provided by parents/caregivers before the office staff can administer.

Please Note: Office staff are first aid trained only.
