COME ALONG TONIGHT – OUR KIDS ONLINE – A Cyber Safety Evening for Parents
The Mid Bays Kāhui Ako have organised an evening for parents, whānau and caregivers to find out more about cyber safety. Our guest speaker will be Rob Cope- Author, Parent & Filmmaker of the 2020 documentary ‘Our Kids Online’. He will be covering topics like the harms our kids are facing online, effects on the developing brain, practical solutions to keeping children safer online and more. The evening will be held on the 28th February 2023 from 7pm – 9pm in the Rangitoto College Auditorium. Tickets will be $10.
We hosted this event last year and this is what guests had to say…
“I would most definitely tell everyone I know that they must go if this talk were offered again!”
“A super informative presentation, if not rather scary!! There would be so much value in getting this information out there to parents of kids”
“Such a worthwhile 2 hours, I feel this should be compulsory for every parent do this before handing over a device, otherwise kind of like letting a kid drive a car without a license. Rob’s delivery was honest and approachable, refreshing…”

Shore To Shore
Registrations are now open
Campbells Bay School has played a big part in this event for the past 20 years.
This year Campbells Bay School will be participating in the Shore to Shore Fun Run/Walk on Sunday 26th March, at 9.00am. The Shore to Shore Fun Run/Walk is a 5km, a fun event for all ages, run by Harbour Sport for all schools in the North Shore and Rodney districts.
All schools that enter the Shore to Shore Fun Run/Walk are eligible to apply for funding for sports and P.E. equipment from the Shore to Shore Trust. The more participants we have in the event from our school will impact the amount of funding we may receive.
There are two entry fees, the $15 fee is for participation in the Fun Run/Walk and the $20 fee also includes a timer for the competitive runners or those who like to keep their time. Also bus tokens are available on registration, $3 each. More details to follow.
This year all entries are made online at www.shoretoshore.co.nz this includes entry and bus tokens. Please make sure you register with the Campbells Bay School team to be included in our end result.
