Jester Pies Fundraiser

Mmmmmm a delicious pie on a Spring day!

Sounds wonderful, doesn’t it!

We have a new fundraiser for Friday 16 September.  Children are invited to order a Jesters pie for lunch!  From every pie sold, CBS receives $1.50 to support us to continue to offer amazing opportunities for our tamariki.

Pie Day
Pies will ONLY be delivered on Friday 16 September and will need to be ordered in advance.  Anyone ordering a Jesters pie (not the normal EZ Lunch pies) will be ordering a pie for delivery on Friday 16 September.
Ordering
The ordering facility opens TODAY and remains open for orders until 11am on Thursday 15 September.
Please order through our ‘Online Payment Portal‘ (Where you pay for school fees, aquatics etc and there will be a special place for our Pie Fundraiser.)
There is a large range of pie options available from Jesters for the day.
Order closing
The ordering closes at 11am the day before delivery – Thursday 15 September.  This allows Jesters time to process our order and ensure they have the correct quantities.

We thought that this was something a little bit fun for the children and we thank you in advance for your support.

Jump Jam – Come See us Perform!

Community invitation to see our winning team – CBS Renegades!

On Saturday a group of 14 students represented CBS at the Jump Jam competition and won FIRST PLACE!  Congratulations to Varvara, Elizabeth, Mila, Grace, Maggie, Kayla, Hannah, Solara, Justina, Boe, Liliana, Max & Ine.  Their commitment to training over the past 8 weeks has seen them achieve an outstanding result against 3 other North Island primary schools.  On top of this, Brett Fairwether ran the event and personally invited the team to go on to the National Competition to verse the best teams from the North and South Island.  They could win the NZ National title at this event. A wonderful achievement on top of winning first place on Saturday.
Jump Jam is a kids aerobic programme that is created by Brett Fairwether and is used in schools around New Zealand.
We would like to extend an invitation to you, our community, to come along and see the children showcase their routine.  We are preparing a few other routines to share with you too.  Please come along to our covered courts (by the Hall) in our last week of this term to see some, or all, of the following:

Tuesday 27 Sept at 2.40pm – Year 1 Jump Jam routine, followed by a Year 2 Jump Jam routine, finishing with the CBS Renegades (winning competition team).  It will be finished by 3pm.
Wednesday 28 Sept at 2.40pm – Year 5 Jump Jam routine, followed by a Year 6 Jump Jam routine, finishing with the CBS Renegades (winning competition team). It will be finished by 3pm.
We are really excited to show you how much fun Jump Jam is!  Here is a picture of our CBS Renegades on Saturday with their trophy.
Hopefully see you there!  From Mrs Whitaker & Mr Padgett
