2009 year 6 camp: 5th - 8th May

Another very successful camp for our Year 6 students took place from 5 – 8 May at Carey Park Christian Camp in the Henderson Valley.

Team 6 teachers as well as Lynley Ainsworth (ICT support) and Jackie Fyson (medical support), in partnership with an outstanding team of parents, made the very best use of the many facilities at Carey Park.

Managing to dodge most of the showers, Year 6 students participated in a wide range of activities including rock wall climbing, kayaking, archery and bush craft.

With a wonderful native bush backdrop and excellent catering (bearing in mind that well fed campers make for happy campers) Carey Park offers an outstanding camping venue. Our wonderful team of children, parents and teachers made the very best use of everything Carey Park has to offer.
