2009 Graduation Dinner: 14th December

The graduation dinner, held in the school hall on the evening of Monday 14 December, featured two former CBS students who shared with those graduating their achievements since their graduation from Campbells Bay School. Morgan Williams (CBS 1996 – 2002. Final year at Rangitoto College 2009) and Maddie Dillon (CBS 1998 – 2004. Year 11 at Kristin School 2009) shared their experiences. Both have excelled in the area of sport with Morgan having just returned from the New Zealand Secondary School Athletic Championships as the pole vault champion and also with a current ranking of 6th in the Commonwealth (India 2008). Maddie was featured recently in the school newsletter winning the World under 19 Triathlon Championships (Gold Coast).

Year 6 graduating students dined in fine surroundings and were served by a team of highly qualified waiters who, based on their sterling performance on the night, will be in much demand during the festive season. Thank you to Denny Aiston-Ross for her superb catering and to all members of the staff who strove to make this a memorable evening and a fitting farewell for our Year 6 graduates.
