2009 Christmas Concerts: 3rd December

Christmas Concerts a Success!

Four concerts were held during the afternoon and evening of Thursday 3 December. The hall was full for each of the concerts that provided the audience with a variety of entertainment including various musical instruments, massed singing, dance, Jump Jam, the Mid Bays Schools’ Festival item, guest performances from former CBS students as well as an appearance from the Dance-a-Lotties at the two junior concerts. Rudolph also managed to make an appearance at all four concerts.

The tiered seating for the massed choir and staging meant that members of the audience could see the performers, and feedback from the audience has been very positive. Sharon Knight and Jenny Watt (musical directors), Alysha Adams (choreographer) and Sheryl Clarke (pianist) all supported the children with their many talents. Thanks, also, to Rob Padgett for his work with the Jump Jam team.
