2008 Feet First Week: 3rd-7th March

Children and parents participated in the 2008 ‘Feet First Week’ with gusto during the week 3 – 7 March. Extra support was evident for the four ‘walking school bus’ routes that operate daily. Mayor Andrew Williams joined one walking school bus for the walk to school, while many children did their ‘walking’ by biking to and from school. There is a lot of support for our walking school buses and ‘Feet First Week’ showed that most members of our school community are prepared to walk to school on occasions.
