2008 Tamiti and TV1 breakfast at CBS: 26th February

The TV1 Breakfast Show weather report was beamed live from Campbells Bay School on Tuesday 26 February 2008. Tamati gave New Zealanders their weather every half hour from 6.30am until 8.30am. The live weather components of the show featured our community forest, our lip synch feature ‘How Bizarre,’ a unicycling demonstration (and a brave attempt by Tamati to unicycle) and our flipper ball practice in the school pool.

This was against the backdrop of a stunning sunrise and the wonderful views from the school. It was a unique experience for our school community to see at first hand a live television broadcast. It should also be noted that Tamati was outstanding providing autographs to every child who asked for one and there were hundreds in that category!
