2008 Shore 2 Shore Run: 30th March

On Sunday 30 March 2008 nearly 680 Campbells Bay School students and supporters ran or walked the 5 kilometre route between Takapuna Grammar School and the Milford Reserve. Waiting for them at the finishing line was a team of helpers who provided the participants with a welcome drink and a sausage.

This year over 8,000 participated in the event with Campbells Bay School having the most participants. It was also, by far and away, the greatest turn out at the event from Campbells Bay. Special thanks go to Rob Padgett who was a tireless worker for the event. As a result of such high levels of participation, not only will our students and supporters be just that much fitter, the school will be able to order valuable sporting equipment from money donated to the school from the trust that organises this very popular annual occasion.
