2004 librarian Sharon Purchase farewell: 10th June

Campbells Bay School bid a sad farewell on Thursday to Sharon Purchase, our very own Queen of the Library. Sharon has been responsible for taking the library to new heights. We have Sharon to thank for events such as the Millionaire's Party (for children who read a million words), Book Week, Character Parade, the great book sale and for making the library a great place to visit. Sharon has involved hundreds of people in the library. As a result the library has become a friendly and warm information hub with extremely high usage. Thank you for your benevolent reign, Sharon.
