2004 new building opening: 25th March

Geoff Pipkin, our wonderful caretaker, opened the new building on Thursday 25 March 2004. The opening ceremony involved short speeches from Chris Davis, property portfolio holder (Board of Trustees) and John McGowan (Principal).

Former students of the school, Crystal Choi and Sarah McCallum delighted the audience with their musical abilities before Geoff Pipkin cut the ribbon and declared the new building well and truly open.

Six months in the construction, the multi-level building comprises performing arts rooms, ICT room, a large library, a teacher preparation and resource room and a large storage room. The building completes a ten year construction programme at Campbells Bay School and provides the 'icing on the cake' in terms of facilities at the school. Architect: John Sofo from ASC Architects.
